Of course, there are no tropical hurricanes in our region (yet  ), but storms are quite typical. Bad luck is to meet it on the Volga: fierce waves (up to 1,5-2 m), severe wind, and tornadoes over water surface. Moreover, it starts instantly - within 10-15 minutes at quiet sunny day. Usually, during summer 1 or 2 of them occur, but now one needs to guess what will come after this heat.

this year summer in some regions known by extreme temperatures, on other hand in some regions known with floods such as in Pakistan. Is this result of global warming? Nobody knows.

Sure, cause city streets start in its center. So, 'to go down the street' means 'to walk in direction where street begins', i.e. in center of city.
